Visa requirements
A passport valid for at least 6 months is required for visitors of all nationalities. There is no visa requirement for citizens of the following countries: Israel, Japan, Canada, the United States of America and members of the European Union. CIS Citizens, except for the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan, do not require a visa. All these nationals are allowed to stay for up to 90 days.
By Air
Direct flights to Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi are from the following European cities: Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Cologne, Vienna, Prague, Munich, London, Moscow, Istanbul and Kiev. Currently Georgian Airways, Airzena, DBA, Austrian Airlines, British Airways, KLM, Turkish Airlines and Lufthansa fly to Georgia. The flights take from 4 to 4.5 hours. From North America flight takes about 12 hours. There are flights from Yerevan, Baku and other cities several times a week. Tbilisi Airport Is 18km. east of the city centre. Taxis and mini-buses are available for transportation into town. An international Airport  of  King  David Aghmashenebeli ” is functioning in Kutaisi, 17 Km-s away from the city. Air companies are operating direct flights from 49 European cities
By Road
Entrance by car is possible via Turkey, Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan. Mini-buses travel from Georgia to all these countries several times daily.
